Young man freed from crashed car on Carnarvon Highway, Roma
Fireys removed a young man from a vehicle after it crashed off a major southwest Queensland highway.
A young man has been taken to hospital overnight after his vehicle crashed off the Carnarvon Highway.
Queensland Fire Department crews were called to the intersection of the Carnarvon Highway and Roma Downs Rd just before 10pm Saturday.
A QFD spokesman said when fireys arrived they found the man, and sole occupant of the vehicle encapsulated.
Fireys went into action and removed a door from the vehicle, where the man was assessed by paramedics.
The man was assessed for back pain and later taken to Roma Hospital.
Queensland Police were also on scene.
