Investigation continues into alleged Yeppoon stabbing incident

Investigations into an alleged domestic violence incident that wounded a 21-year-old man near Yeppoon are continuing.

Police investigations into an alleged stabbing incident that wounded a 21-year-old man at a property near Yeppoon yesterday June 21 are continuing on Sunday.

It’s alleged a man in his early 20s stabbed the 21-year-old in the arm with a knife on Saturday afternoon at a Kevin Drive address in Hidden Valley, with the victim suffering a minor injury.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said the incident was being treated as a possible domestic violence matter as the two men were known to each other and related.

Queensland Ambulance paramedics treated the alleged victim at the scene before transporting him to Yeppoon Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.

QPS said no charges had been laid as of 10.30am Sunday.
