AN elderly man has died in hospital after the scooter he was in collided with a car.
At 10am Friday, the car and the scooter collided on a Geddes St roundabout.
The collision caused the rider to fall off the scooter, where he suffered life-threatening injuries.
The 92-year-old Centenary Heights man was transported to Toowoomba Hospital where he later passed away.
The two occupants of the car were not physically injured.
Four people have died and three seriously injured in the past 24 hours in five separate incidents on Queensland roads.
The crashes come as police launch Operation Cold Snap to coincide the with the school holidays.
