A woman in her 60s has been charged with manslaughter over the death of an 11-month-old boy at a home in Brisbane’s south in April, 2024.

Detectives have charged a woman with manslaughter in relation to the death of an 11-month-old baby boy in Darra.
Emergency services were called to an Ashridge Rd residents after reports the infant was unconscious and not breathing about 10am on April 3, 2024.
The baby died at the scene.
The Inala Child Protection and Investigation Unit later launched Operation Whiskey Nocturne to investigate the death of the boy.
Detectives on Monday charged a 63-year-old Darra woman with manslaughter.
She is due to appear before Richland Magistrates Court on June 4.
