Junfeng Chen pleads not guilty to alleged stalking, intimidation, harassment or abuse in Bowen Court

Prosecutors have been asked to supply evidence after a man denied stalking, intimidating, harassing or abusing three people.

A man accused of multiple incidents of stalking has denied committing the alleged offences.

Junfeng Chen appeared in Bowen Magistrates Court where he entered not guilty pleas to three charges of alleged stalking, intimidating, harassing or abusing the men.

It was alleged the 36-year-old committed the offences related to the first man between September 2, 2019 and September 10, 2022, the second between July 4 2022 and August 21, 2022, and the third between January 8, 2024 and February 1, 2024.

Solicitor Cleo Rewald from Richards Rewald Lawyers appeared on behalf of Mr Chen and asked the court for a brief of evidence to be ordered.

Prosecution was ordered to prepare a brief to be made available by August 22.

Mr Chen is scheduled to appear in Bowen Magistrates Court for a review mention on September 23.
