A GROUP of 20-year-old girls were rushed to Toowoomba Base Hospital last night after a driver lost control of a vehicle on the New England Highway, sending it into a ditch.

Three women were in the car that spun out and semi-rolled when taking a corner in wet conditions at 6.30 last night.

A female driver from Brisbane was issued with a ticket for failing to keep control of the vehicle.

She tried to make a right-hand turn into the Nobby Connection Rd and lost control of the car, which ended up in the table drain according to Clifton Police.

Sergeant Bruce Willett said the young women suffered minor seat-belt injuries and were transported to hospital for assessment.

All three women in the vehicle were 20 years old and from Brisbane.
