Riders jump well in cross country on a wet Warwick weekend

EVENTING: Two hundred riders were in Warwick at the weekend for the DRB Floats Warwick International Eventing at Morgan Park.
The men were easily outnumbered by the women riders in all classes and the vast majority had no problems with the main water jump on the Warwick Horse Trials Club.
Club president Tracey Sexton was happy with the success of the weekend.
"There was 50mm rain at the weekend but the course was still firm underneath the top soil,” Sexton said.
Olympic medallist Wayne Roycroft travelling from interstate to Warwick and was the commentator at the main water jump in the cross country on Sunday.
Madison Simpson was the three-star winner.
All dressage was on Saturday, all cross country on Sunday and showjumping on both days.
