Emergency crews rush to multiple incidents on Darling Downs roads

Emergency crews have been called to three incidents on Darling Downs roads, all within minutes of one another.

Just after noon on Wednesday police, fireys and paramedics were called to a two-vehicle crash involving a prime mover on the Gore Highway at Yandilla, about 70km west of Toowoomba.

Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said when crews arrived they found the prime mover had rolled on its side and was off the highway.

The QFD spokeswoman said the driver and sole occupant of the truck was already out of the vehicle and was being assessed by paramedics.

It’s understood no occupants from the second vehicle were injured.

Only a matter of minutes later emergency crews were called to a second truck rollover on the New England Highway at The Glen, outside Warwick around 12.15pm.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman said officers were on scene and had reported a light rigid truck had rolled.

The QPS spokeswoman said the driver was reported to be uninjured.

Around six minutes later crews were called to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of the New England Highway and Amiens Rd at Thulimbah, 27km south of The Glen.

The QFD spokeswoman said all occupants were out of the vehicle when crews arrived and appeared to be uninjured.

Traffic may be affected in these areas.
