A WOMAN was taken to Stanthorpe Hospital to be checked out after a vehicle hit an embankment just north of Stanthorpe at 2.50pm Sunday.
The accident happened on the New England Highway between Stathorpe and Applethorpe near McDonald's.
The Queensland Ambulance Service transported the woman to hospital as a precaution.
A crew from the Queensland Fire and Emergency Service also attended.
