Thor: Ragnarok star Mark Ruffalo leaves parting gift at Gold Coast set

ONE of the stars of Thor: Ragnarok might have left the Gold Coast set, but he left a parting gift that’s larger than life.

MARK Ruffalo may have left Queensland, but his alter ego’s extra-large presence is still being felt on the Gold Coast set of Thor: Ragnarok.

Fitness trainer Luke Zocchi posted a photo to Instagram of director Taika Waititi holding up the Incredible Hulk’s iconic cut-off denim shorts as they are rarely seen — in real size.

“Look how much progress he has made!” Zocchi joked.

The photo also gave us a sneak peek at the set’s extensive CGI screens.

Actor Tessa Thompson has returned from a stint in London for what is believed to be the final fortnight of filming on the Gold Coast, joining stars Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston.

She posted a sentimental photo to Instagram of the skies above Movie World:
