Teen charged after young girl’s screams stop alleged break-in at Rochedale
A teenager has been charged over an alleged daylight break-and-enter of a home in Brisbane’s south that was stopped only by the screams of a terrified 13-year-old girl.

A teenager has been charged over the alleged daylight break-and-enter of a home at Rochedale that was interrupted by the screams of a terrified 13-year-old girl.
A 16-year-old Crestmead boy has been charged with one count of entering dwelling and commit and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in the Brisbane Childrens Court on June 10.
Investigations are continuing in relation to the two other males involved in the alleged break-in.
Police had asked for information to find the trio, who left the scene in a blue Mazda CX8, with Queensland registration 407 HR6.
One occupant of the car was later filmed confronting another resident with what appeared to be a machete.
