While several bubs out of the 51 in the running were shown love, two babies have won the hearts of the Sunshine Coast.

Alaia Amari Brennan and Hudson Byron Neville Brett have received a majority of the votes, taking up about 33 per cent together as of Friday morning.

Hudson’s mum Madi Taylor said she “couldn’t have asked for a better gift” when he was born just two days before her 21st birthday.

“Hudson is the sweetest little fella, with the cutest little smile and has the biggest personality starting to come through,” she said.

“He makes the long, sleepless nights and explosive nappies all worth it.

“Win or lose, he will always be the cutest baby to his mummy and daddy.”

Alaia’s mum Wimas Anggraeni said her active daughter was “always wanting to do more than what she can”.

“She can’t talk but she is definitely vocal and make sure let you know what she needs,” she said.

“She is such a happy baby, her little giggles are contagious.

“But in saying that, I think every baby is beautiful and unique in their own way and deserve to win.”

While Alaia and Hudson are in the lead, there’s still time for another bub to win the title.

Voting will close on Monday at 6am. Vote for the cutest baby on the Coast below.
