Palmwoods man Colin Roy Pearce in court for Woombye car crash death
A lawyer has detailed what will happen next in the case of a Sunshine Coast business owner charged over the death of a man following a car crash.

A Sunshine Coast business owner who was charged over the death of another man in a car crash has appeared in court again.
Palmwoods man Colin Roy Pearce, 61, appeared in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Monday, February 12 after he was charged in December last year with driving without due care and attention causing death.
Defence lawyer Sam King represented Mr Pearce in court and asked for the matter to be adjourned for a lengthy plea, where his client plans to enter his plea.
Mr King said the plea would take about one hour.
Court documents previously revealed the crash occurred at Woombye on Blackall St on August 25 last year.
The man died later in the year, a court was previously told, and Mr Pearce was charged in relation to the incident on December 30 last year.
Documents stated Mr Pearce was a business owner.
Magistrate Rod Madsen adjourned the matter to April 2 for a lengthy plea.
