Salt Caves Mooloolaba has been listed for sale by Savvy Business Sales agent Steve Schindler.

Running for the past four years and with a database of more than 14,000, the salt therapy business could be yours for just $120,000.

Established by Shaun Taylor and his Polish wife, the duo shifted from Toowoomba to establish salt caves in Mooloolaba.

Salt therapy uses 12 different Himalayan salts containing about 80 mineral elements and is said to help with skin conditions, respiratory problems and even the common cold.

There are two rooms, or caves, constructed of the Himalayan salts, and machines blow micronised salt into the air, which people inhale for treatment of ailments like asthma, eczema and psoriasis and it has even been reported to help with cystic fibrosis.

With the health sector looming as a key sector on the Coast and alternative health growing in popularity, Mr Schindler was marketing the business as "an amazing entry level opportunity for those looking to be involved in the allied health industry".

"Salt Caves Mooloolaba is a solid platform for like industries to expand with other alternate health professions," he said.

He said the business had a high-profile position with affordable rent and there were "no degrees, diplomas or hard work required" for the "easy to operate business" which he expected would sell quickly.

The Smith St, Mooloolaba business has had a $180,000 fit-out and the new purchasers could earn more than $100,000 per year.

The niche business features two salt rooms, a massage room and sauna room.
