A popular Sunshine Coast Italian restaurant and bar has announced a rebrand as they bring in a restructuring practitioner.
An Australian Securities and Investments Commission notice on Friday, March 28 stated the company Florentina’s Trattoria Pty Ltd, which trades as La Tapas at Florentina’s, was undergoing changes.
The company was previously named Vic Pam Dan Pty Ltd.
Administrator Jarvis Lee Archer was appointed to complete the company’s restructure.
Mr Jarvis stated in the ASIC documents the restructuring period had been approved to be extended to May 13, 2025.
The restaurant and bar on the Mudjimba Esplanade first began trading under the company in August 2018, the documents stated.
The ASIC documents show the company is directed by Sunshine Coast woman, Pamela Aranguiz, with Viktor Tresku as the company’s secretary.
On Sunday, Ms Aranguiz announced on social media the restaurant would trade as Florentina’s Trattoria Restaurant and Bar going forward, along with a new menu.
“We’re excited to announce a new chapter! Starting Tuesday, our venue will officially become Florentina’s Trattoria Restaurant and Bar,” Ms Aranguiz wrote.
“A brand-new menu is on the way, and our team is working together as a family to bring this exciting concept to life.
“We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been part of our journey over the past six years. This was a difficult decision, but Florentina’s has always been a favourite, and we are committed to growing and creating even more unforgettable memories with you all.”
Both Florentina’s Trattoria and Mr Archer have been contacted by this publication for comment.
