Across the region young skateboarders are flipping their way to stardom, with several chasing Olympic dreams. Check out the list of young talents and watch the amazing video.

Sunshine Coast skate parks are often packed with skaters of all ages and levels, but hidden among the chaos is a handful of fearless, world-class talents.
Several are even eyeing the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympics in France.
Chiggy’s Skateboarding founder and coach Mat Chigwidden, 31, coaches hundreds of riders through his skateboarding company at Coolum Beach.
While there are many bright talents, Mr Chigwidden has ranked the top 20 skateboarders in the region, with a nine-year-old taking the top spot.

Hudson Birss
Peregian Beach skateboarder Hudson Birss, 9, is a child prodigy, skating better than most adults since being coached from the tender age of four.
The young rider took out first prize at a regional skateboarding competition in the country earlier this year.
Hailey Powell
Mooloolah Valley rider Hailey Powell, 16, is a teenage sensation competing around the world this year to qualify for the upcoming Olympics.
Ms Powell is flying to Brazil in October to compete in an Olympic qualifying event, Rio World Skate Street World Championships 2022.
Ms Power, who has her own skatepark at home, competed against boys when she first got into the sport, pushing her to become one of the best.
Ben Glass
Buddina skate junkie Ben Glass, 12, enjoys chasing big ramps around the country because he’s outright fearless.
Mr Glass is constantly learning new tricks. He has competed at a couple of under-12s skateboarding competitions so far, landing in second and third place.
Phoenix Andreasson
Buderim skateboarder Phoenix Andreasson, 12, skates everything in his path with pure style.
He’s got his eyes set on a skateboarding competition at sports event Rumble on the Reef at Mackay in September.
Reef Lewis
Maroochydore skateboarder Reef Lewis, 10, is known for his determination, helping him rise through the ranks quickly.
Nixen Osborne
Sunshine Coast rider Nixen Osborne, 21, is a free spirit and a dynamite skateboarder, also competing to qualify for the upcoming Olympics.
Kaedyn Collins
Kawana rider Kaedyn Collins, 16, competes around the country, and has been attending every skateboarding lesson, event, camp that he can get to.
The teenager, who coaches young riders too, snatched the top prize at a under-16s skateboarding competition in Brisbane earlier this year.
Eli Waterson
Caloundra skateboarder Eli Waterson, 11, has breathtaking control for his age and is full of style.
Jesse James
Warana rider Jesse James, 7, is talented and doesn’t miss a day of riding.
Noa Barnes
Alexandra Headland skater Noa Barnes, 12, has a bright future in the sport, skating with speed, style and flare.
Jordan Boggis
Coolum Beach rider Jordan Boggis, 20, skates nearly every day and if he isn’t, he is filming riders on the streets.
Lola Morgan
Maroochydore rider Lola Morgan, 7, is obsessed with the sport, loves a new trick and even gives older riders a run for their money.
The young lady came first at a skating competition for under-9s girls in June.
Jack Meek
Caloundra rider Jack Meek, 14, is known for his technical ability and riding every park across the Sunshine Coast.
Lukas Buyers
Sunrise Beach skateboarder Lukas Byers, 14, has style, staggering speed and every trick up his sleeve.
Nalu Fleming
Mount Coolum rider Nalu Fleming, 7, was basically born with a skateboard under his feet.
The relentless little rider isn’t afraid of a new trick or taking a fall.
Jett Rouillon
Little Mountain shredder Jett Rouillon, 12, is passionate, rides effortlessly, and constantly improving.
He took out an award for the best trick at a skateboarding competition on the Sunshine Coast this year.
Max Mengel
Maroochydore rider Max Mengel, 11, skates any obstacle with no fear.
Mitchell Howse
Kawana skating legend Mitchell Howse, 26, has a unique style, plenty of tricks, and dreams to compete at the upcoming Olympics.
Lexi Pascoe
Alexandra Headland rider Lexi Pascoe, 10, is obsessed with the sport, chasing every contest within reach.
Ollie Sharpe
Yaroomba rider Ollie Sharpe, 6, is self-motivated, energetic and loves a trick or three.
