Caravan rolls on Bruce Hwy near Parklands on Sunshine Coast

Emergency crews have rushed to a caravan rollover involving a woman and child that is blocking one lane of traffic on the Bruce Hwy.

A car and caravan have rolled over on the Bruce Highway at Parklands just north of Nambour this afternoon, December 12.

Traffic delays and congestion northbound are expected.

A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said the car and caravan rolled over in the northbound lanes.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said they were called to the scene at 3.08pm with two patients assessed with no or minor injuries and have not transported them to hospital.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the woman driver with five-year-old passenger were “safe and well”.

Traffic is slowed northbound with one lane blocked and emergency crews still on scene.
