A Coast mobile party business says it wants to give Noosa Schoolies a celebration worth remembering.
Pop it and Party is a party trailer hire business that caters to large crowds complete with stereo, disco lights, UV glow lasers and glow body paints.
Owners Sonia and Matthew Schweitzer submitted a request to Noosa Council on Tuesday offering to donate their party trailer on Friday and Saturday night to give school leavers a “celebration worth remembering”.
“We just want to see all the kids having fun,” Ms Schweitzer said.
“Schoolies is a great tradition, it is not their fault that Covid came.”

It seems Noosa locals are supportive of the idea.
“Fantastic. Let’s hope you’re allowed to do something for them. You rock,” one Facebook user wrote.
But sadly, the kind gesture may all be in vain.
A Noosa Council spokesman said the council did not run Schoolies and police were the ones who called the shots regarding music.
However, according to Noosa police, the council would make the call.
“The council will shut it down before the power is even connected, will not get approval,”
officer-in-charge Sergeant Troy Cavell said.
The council spokesman confirmed the council was aware of the party business offering its services but stated there were no set events in line with the Queensland Government’s decision.
Mr Schweitzer said he had received a message from councillor Amelia Lorentsen stating she had “made an inquiry on his behalf”.
The Daily reached out to Cr Lorentsen for comment.
Whether or not the party bus gets the green light to entertain the young revellers remains to be seen.
“We knew there were restrictions but I know they always change,” Ms Schweitzer said.
“It would be really good to have an event.
“I’m really proud of them.”
