With a name like Theo’s Social Club it is no surprise the newest wine bar in Noosa is quickly gaining a popular following.
Owners Sam Gray-Jones and Madeleine Campbell have been run off their feet since opening the doors of their Noosa Junction enterprise on Thursday, December 17.
Mr Gray-Jones is no stranger to the hospitality trade after a decade on the Noosa scene working in Sum Yung Guys restaurant and Rickys River Bar and Restaurant.
Despite his previous experiences, the new wine bar owner has learnt some valuable business lessons in his first venture with the boss hat on.
“I realised I knew absolutely nothing that I thought I knew,” Mr Gray-Jones said.
“Lots of obstacles come your way, you have got to figure them out quickly.
“Every day is like a school day.”

The opportunity to set up at Sunshine Beach Rd in Noosa Junction was one too good to pass up.
Mr Gray-Jones believed Noosa Junction was heading for a resurgence with an increasing number of people looking for an alternative to Hasting St.
“What is happening in the Junction at the moment is really awesome,” he said.
“There are bars and cafes popping up everywhere.”
