Securing the Disney gig and moving to Sydney introduced Morgan to a mind-blowing world of international travel and rubbing shoulders with Hollywood celebrities.

"It was some of the best years of my life," he said.

"I once flew 36 hours to Iceland for a seven-minute interview with the illustrator of the Ice Age movie."

Now he is back in Noosa, and while he may have left the acting world behind, the new agent believed his prior skills and experiences would come in handy.

"I know what people are going through when they want to buy or rent," Morgan said.

"My partner and I had to live in a backpackers for the first six to eight months that we were in Sydney.

"No one gave us the time of day even though I was this guy on TV."

Stay Noosa owner Liam Anlezark was impressed with his newest agent's transition into real estate.

"First and foremost he is a great down to earth, honest and respectful bloke who knows how to communicate well and be totally present in the moment from his time in TV," he said.

Coming back to the town where he grew up, Morgan is confident he has what it takes to thrive in the competitive Noosa market.

He may just need to remind himself of his new 'audience' from time to time.

"My biggest challenge will be not jumping into a room thinking everyone is six years old," he said.

"I will have to break out of the mindset of being a kid's presenter."
