THERE'S never been a better time to get behind our local guys and show your support then in the lead in to this Christmas.
Chamber of Commerce events and promotion sub-committee chairman Josh Cavallaro said this year's annual Christmas promotion was flowing on from the hard work put in during previous years.
"Every year we obviously do the Shop Local/Reward the Shopper promotion - so essentially shop in any of the participating stores, which is the members of Chamber of Commerce, and you receive a ticket to go into the major prize draw,” he said.
There's already been several prizes given out, but the main one will be drawn on Friday, December 21.
"Basically we just want to give back to our members and the community to promote shopping locally and supporting our region and keeping the money in town and all patting each other on the back for doing a good job.”
Not only are there promotions, there's activities and entertainment lined up for the main street piazza up until December 21.
"They are all free events. It's just something to give back to the community for supporting everyone in town,” Mr Cavallaro said.
