Two vehicle crash at Cushnie Rd leaves three patients injured
A man and two women have been flown to Brisbane and Toowoomba hospitals after a horrific two-car smash in the South Burnett where multiple fire crews and the forensic crash unit attended.

Three adults have been flown to hospital following a horror two-car smash in Cushnie, South Burnett.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said a man reportedly in his 20s to 30s was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with critical chest injuries.
“A woman in her 40s with pelvic injuries was flown to Toowoomba in a serious but stable condition,” he said.
“A second woman in her 70s with leg injuries was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital .
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services rescued two people trapped in a vehicle.
Five fire crews responded to the Cushnie Rd, Cushnie, crash which was reported at 11.15am Wednesday as a serious collision.
A Life Flight spokesman said it is believed the two vehicles collided on the rural road, with one vehicle crashing into the side of the other.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said fire crews had to remove two people from a vehicle.

“The accident occurred on Cushnie Rd between Reinkes Rd and Quarry Rd,” she said.
A Queensland police spokesman said the forensic crash unit also responded to the crash.
