Two transported to Kingaroy hospital after separate incidents in the Burnett

Ambulance officers were kept busy overnight, with separate incidents resulting in two people hospitalised in a matter of hours in the South Burnett. One man was injured in a truck rollover west of Kingaroy.

Queensland drivers to face fines for not stopping for emergency vehicles

Ambulance officers have responded to multiple incidents in the Burnett overnight including a truck rollover on a rural highway.

QAS was first called to the scene of the rollover at Kumbia, west of Kingaroy, at 6.37pm on Sunday night.

Reports suggest the vehicle rolled at the intersection of the Bunya Hwy and Bunya Mountains Rd.

An adult male was taken to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition with an arm injury.

Later, ambulance officers attended a private residence in Nanango at 7.23am to report a woman had fallen from a horse.

The woman, in her 50s, was assessed at the scene for a suspected head injury.

She was also transported to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition.
