Police swarm Yarraman home of man covered in petrol
Police surrounded the home of a man who had poured petrol over himself during an incident in the South Burnett on Friday afternoon.

Police have swarmed a Yarraman property after a man poured petrol over himself and holed up on a property for several hours.
A Queensland Police spokesman said they were called to a mental health related incident at 11.30am near Toomey Street in Yarraman, about two hours from Brisbane.
A statement from police said they negotiated with the man in bushland for some time before an ambulance transported him to Kingaroy Hospital for a mental health checkup.
