Operation Googa Creek was a response to the information police received around the “large gathering on a rural block of land” and were concerned the event would result in an emergency, given the “secrecy” and “rural location”.

The operation included officers from the South Burnett Patrol Group, detectives from the Stock and Rural Crime Squad, the Brisbane Dog Squad, the Tactical Crime Squad and the Highway Patrol.

Police are continuing to investigate the alleged sale of liquor, supply and distribution of dangerous drugs during the event.
