Man dies after a crash on New England Highway
Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash where a car hit a tree, rolled and burst into flames near Cooyar.

Investigations are ongoing after a man died in a shocking car crash at Cooyar on Monday.
Emergency services attended the accident on the New England Highway at the intersection of Kingaroy-Cooyar Road around 2.30pm.
Initial information from the scene indicates the 66-year-old victim was travelling east in a silver Toyota Rav4.
The accident occurred when the car sideswiped a grey Subaru Outback which was driving along the road in the opposite direction.
The Rav4 kept moving before it hit a tree at the side of the road and rolled, eventually igniting into flames.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the 66-year-old man was assessed for life-threatening injuries at the scene and was declared deceased.
Investigations into the circumstances that lead to the crash are ongoing.
