Mother airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital after crash near Proston
A woman in her 50s has been airlifted to the Sunshine Coast and her high-school aged daughter taken to hospital after their car crashed off the road near Proston.

A mother has been airlifted and her high-school aged daughter rushed to hospital after a serious crash at Keysland, near Proston on Wednesday evening.
The mother, in her 50s, was driving with her daughter when their car reportedly veered off the road before 5pm, crashing down a road embankment.
Paramedics arrived at the scene at 4.45pm where the mother was suffering serious spinal injuries, a shoulder injury and lacerations.
A QAS spokesman said the girl was transported to Kingaroy Hospital with minor bruising and lacerations.
The Sunshine Coast-based LifeFlight helicopter arrived at the scene before 5.30pm and flew the mother to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
A LifeFlight spokesman said the Special Mission Helicopter pilot landed the aircraft on the road near the scene of the crash where the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and QAS Flight Paramedic met with local QAS paramedics.
