A man is in critical condition following a two-vehicle crash in Silverleaf, near Murgon, this morning.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said they received a call at 9.07am of reports of a serious collision on Bicks Rd, Silverleaf.
He said they assessed a woman in her 50s who was “entrapped in the vehicle”.
The spokesman also confirmed they were treating a man who has sustained “life-threatening injuries”.
A police officer on the scene confirmed the woman was cut from the vehicle before she was flown to Sunshine Coast Hospital in a stable condition.
Emergency services are still on the scene and the road is expected to be closed until at least 2.30pm.
The crash happened on a narrow section of road at a crest, where blind spots make it difficult to see oncoming vehicles.
The Forensic Crash Unit is on its way.
