Firefighters monitor two fires in South Burnett

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a grass fire in Booie early this morning.
The grass fire is located at Smith Rd and Booie Rd and crews first responded to the fire at 1.35am on Tuesday morning.
This comes as the Bureau of Meteorology forecasts another very high fire danger day for Kingaroy.
Firefighters are also currently monitoring a bushfire to the northeast of Nanango.
The bushfire was alerted late Monday afternoon along Lords Trk at Mount Stanley.
There is no threat to any properties at this time.
Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service crews are patrolling the fire to keep it contained.
Nearby residents may be affected by smoke throughout the coming days, particularly in the Diaper area.
Residents are asked to close windows and doors and if suffering from a respiratory condition, to keep medication close by.
Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.
If residents are concerned their property is under threat, they are advised to call Triple 000 immediately.
