Which business should come to the region next? Kmart? Hungry Jacks? 7-Eleven?

WHEN you ask South Burnett residents which businesses they think should come to the region next, the overwhelming response is often Kmart.

The South Burnett Times recently asked their readers what they wished the South Burnett had and many responded with a variety of businesses.

More food takeaways like Hungry Jacks or Pizza Hut were called for.

While some asked for more cuisine options around town like Thai, Mexican or perhaps Bubble Tea.

Other community members are dreaming of the opportunity to browse through the homewares, clothing or toy aisles in Kmart or running their hands through fabric options at Spotlight.

Could the South Burnett one day have a 24-hour 7-Eleven, serving Krispy Creme delicacies in town?

It has been a big year for new businesses in the region, with a variety of new stores opening their doors for the first time.

Murgon residents welcomed a new taste in town when 'Big Sausage Fest'offered a variety of gourmet hot dogs and sausages.

Earlier this year, many South Burnett residents were counting down the days until the Bunnings Warehouse store opened up in Kingaroy.
