A Kingaroy fitness centre is going from strength to strength after conquering the polls and being named the best gym in the Burnett. Find out what sets it apart.

Conquer Fitness has been voted best gym in the Burnett.

A popular Kingaroy fitness centre which has gone from strength to strength since opening in 2015 has been voted as the Burnett’s best gym.

Kingaroy Conquer Fitness won a majority of votes in a reader poll to name the region’s best gym, with Snap Fitness Kingaroy voted as the runner-up.

Conquer Fitness manager Lydia Jenson said she felt very thankful for the support.

“I’m very grateful to everyone that voted for us, all of our clients and the community,” Ms Jenson said.

Kyla Milne, who works in the admin and social media department, was equally excited about the win.

Conquer Fitness has been voted as Burnett’s best gym.

“It feels pretty good, I feel like we’ve worked hard for this. We’re pretty proud of our gym,” Ms Milne said.

Conquer Fitness started with humble beginnings when Christian Sutton opened it in 2015 in a small shed on Thames St, before moving to the larger facility at Stehbens St in 2020.

Conquer Fitness is Burnett’s biggest gym facility.

It has 360 degree body scans, supplements, a recovery room, a massage lounge, sauna, personal trainers, group fitness classes and child minding.

Fitness classes including boxing are offered at Conquer Fitness.

“It has everything you need in one place where you can train and relax and recover too,” Ms Jenson said.

Conquer Fitness is also NDIS registered.

Ms Jenson said anyone on the NDIS who are covered for personal training can come in and will be booked in under the scheme.

When asked what they love most about working at Conquer Fitness, both women agreed that it was the people who make it great.

“It’s great, such a good vibe here, everyone here has a good time, we all work in pretty well with each other,” Ms Milne said.

“We get along with our members very well and it’s like a little community here.”
