The sister of a 54-year-old Biggenden baker who died in a horror fire with his 10-year-old daughter has spoken about her heartbreak, revealing she was meant to have a double wedding with her brother just days after the tragedy.

Todd and Kirra Mooney were found dead on December 20 at their property at Fenwicks Road, Biggenden.

Lisa-Marree Mooney took to social media to tell people about the tragedy.

“No I didn’t get married as we were supposed to do double wedding and now poor Rebecca has been left with no partner or child,” Ms Mooney wrote.

“My brother was so proud to finally marry the girl of his dreams and the mother of their beloved daughter just 10 years old.”

“I am broken, yet another sibling and niece we have lost – not many of us left now.

“I will let you know when we lay them to rest.”

On Monday night Ms Mooney told 7 News Brisbane it was a shock to find out about her brothers death as they were on the way to Queensland from New South Wales for the wedding.

“Instead of a double wedding, we have a double funeral,” she said.

Mr Mooney’s daughter Kirra, 10, also died in the shed fire on the family property on December 20.
