One ATV has been found in the bush and another is still missing, as police investigations continue into their alleged theft in Roma.

An all-terrain vehicle has been returned to its rightful owner, after locals reported they’d seen it stashed in the bush on the side of the highway.

Police found the ATV, which had allegedly been stolen from a property in Roma, on the side of the Carnarvon Highway, 40km out of Roma stashed in the bush at Green Swamp.

That ATV was allegedly stolen from a Roma address between January 28 and 28.

Roma Police thanked the community for their assistance in finding a stolen ATV, and asked the community for help in locating another missing ATV quad bike.

Police reported another ATV was allegedly stolen in the same time period, but it is yet to be found.

The missing ATV is a 2016 blue Yamaha Kodiak 700, with trailer registration DN00047.

Police are again looking to the community for assistance in locating the missing ATV.

No one has been charged yet for the alleged thefts.
