Emergency services have responded to an incident involving a cattle truck on the Warrego Highway near Wallumbilla.

Queensland Police received three calls in relation to the incident on Monday, the first about 1.28pm.

Early reports indicate the cattle truck had rolled, but a Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said reports now suggest the stock crate came off the trailer.

Queensland Police reported that cattle wreaked havoc across the highway, until the stock squad and local farmer were able to muster the beasts.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said crews reported no injuries.

Wallumbilla local Brendan Seawright said it was likely about 40 head of cattle got loose, after the double-deck stock crate came loose from the trailer.
