GET ready to bend and snap when Roma Performing Arts takes to the stage this weekend, bringing much loved Legally Blonde - The Musical to town.
Year 12 student Sarah Hall steals the show with her stellar performance as Elle Woods, as she navigates her way through Harvard law school.
Proudly sponsored by Senex, the musical is sure to get audiences laughing, according to show producer and group president Tracey O'Brien.
"We try and bring a fresh new show to Roma every year, and this show is perfect for the whole family,” she said.
"There's action, great songs and lots of dancing.”
The show, based on the much loved movie, brings together local performers and school students across a wide range of ages.
"Our youngest cast member this year is 13 years old.
It is a community based production, and in the end we just all come together and have fun,” Ms O'Brien said.
Senex community relations manager Trevor Robertson said the company had sponsored Roma Performing Arts, allowing it to secure the rights for such big-name shows, and other associated costs.
"Senex is keen to help sustain the vitality of local communities where we work,” Mr Robertson said.
"Working with Roma Performing Arts is about sharing the fun and enjoyment of live theatre with local people.”
You can book a table, bring food for a theatre-restaurant style experience and buy drinks for the local show.
The curtain rises at Roma Cultural Centre at 7pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, as well as a matinee show on Saturday afternoon.
