In a horror weekend in South West Queensland, four people were taken to hospital in two crashes in St George in less than 48 hours.

Two people were taken to St George Hospital after a single-vehicle rollover on Monday, May 20 at 3.45am.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said both of the vehicle’s occupants sustained minor injuries in the rollover.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said one crew arrived at the scene on the Carnarvon Highway at Ian Paul Rd at 4.15am.

The spokeswoman said a car towing a trailer had rolled, and came to rest about 5m from the road.

She said no occupants of the vehicle were reported to be trapped.

Another two people were taken to St George Hospital on Saturday, May 18 after a two-vehicle crash on the Moonie Highway in St George.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 4.53am.

A QFES spokeswoman said one crew was at the scene of the two-vehicle crash by 5.20am.

She said the vehicle was off the road and in a safe position, but the highway was closed for a period of time.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said two people were taken to St George Hospital with minor injuries.

Both incidents occurred in less than 48 hours.

In the same period of time, two people sustained head and neck injuries after a single-vehicle rollover in Dalby.
