A house in rural South West Queensland caught fire on Tuesday night, after food left cooking on a stove ignited.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on Fletchers Lane, Mount Abundance at 7.45pm on Tuesday, after reports of a house fire.
Fire crews had the fire extinguished within 30 minutes, a Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said, and left the scene in the hands of the residents by 9pm.
Initial investigations found food burnt on the stove, which was likely the cause of the fire.
Paramedics and police were called to the scene as well, but no one was injured in the blaze.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the fire was not being treated as suspicious.
