Man, 18, killed in Gladstone crash, woman critically injured in buggy rollover
A young man has died and a woman is fighting for life after a Bruce Highway car crash just hours after a buggy rollover in the same region.

An 18-year-old man has died and two others injured in a horrific crash on the Bruce Highway in Ambrose near Gladstone on Friday night.
Police said that shortly after 6.30pm a car was travelling along the Bruce Highway when it left the roadway and rolled near Gentle Annie Road.
The driver, an 18-year-old Toolooa man, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
Two passengers, a 17-year-old Toolooa boy and a 19-year-old South Gladstone man, sustained non-life threatening injuries and were taken to Gladstone Hospital for treatment.
Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision from the area around the time of the incident is urged to contact police.
The crash comes after a woman was flown to hospital in a rescue helicopter after she became trapped and suffered critical injuries in a buggy rollover in Central Queensland that also injured a teenage boy.
Queensland Ambulance Service was called to reports of the buggy rollover on Apis Creek Road, north of Duaringa, at 1.35pm on Friday.
RACQ CapRescue were also tasked to the accident.
A QAS spokeswoman said a woman in her 40s was initially trapped in the rollover.
She said the woman was airlifted to Rockhampton Hospital in a critical condition with head and leg injuries.
She said a male in his teens was also airlifted to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition.
