Multiple dead, vehicle on fire following horrific CQ highway crash
A young boy and girl are among four victims of a horrific head-on smash that closed a Central Queensland highway on Sunday.

Four people, including two children, have been killed in a horror crash on the Capricorn Highway between Comet and Blackwater in Central Queensland.
The deceased were all occupants of a Holden Commodore that collided head-on with a Toyota HiLux about 10.50am on Sunday.
The Commodore driver, a 28-year-old man, was killed, along with another man, 32, and a boy, 6, and girl, 7.
The two occupants of the HiLux, males aged 27 and 28, were taken to hospital, the 27-year-old airlifted to Brisbane with life-threatening injuries.
Both lanes of the Capricorn Highway were expected to be closed into the evening.
Imvestigations by the police Forensic Crash Unit were continuing.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said one of the vehicles was on fire when crews arrived.
