Two teams unbeaten after day one of titles in Rocky

HOCKEY: Capricornia have made a winning start to the Queensland secondary schoolboys championships in Rockhampton.
They beat Darling Downs 5-2 and backed it up with a 3-1 win over one of the competition favourites, Wide Bay, this afternoon.
Capricornia and Northern, who defeated Met North 2-1 and South Coast 1-nil, were the only teams to win both their games today.
Ten teams are contesting the four-day championships at Kalka Shades.
Round games continue Monday, with cross-overs on Tuesday and finals on Wednesday.
Capricornia will look to continue their good form on Monday when they take on Peninsula at 10.50am and Sunshine Coast at 3.50pm.

The Aaron Harmsworth-coached outfit survived an early scare against Darling Downs in their first game today.
They were down 2-nil in the first 10 minutes before they rallied to be back on level pegging by half-time.
They took charge in the second half, scoring three unanswered goals.
Harmsworth was impressed at the composure his players showed.
"I was very happy that they didn't panic," he said.
"The senior players really stood firm and particularly after half time, we controlled the game well."
Harmsworth said that, as expected, Wide Bay proved a challenge.
"It was a close game and it could have gone either way," he said.
Capricornia led 2-1 at half-time and slotted their third early in the last quarter.
Hayden Pease, Ryley Bobart, Dylan Quinlan and Jai Cass were among Capricornia's best.
