That left North Queensland, Mackay/Whitsunday and Central Queensland to battle for honours in the series of T20 games played at the Rockhampton Cricket Grounds.

North Queensland and Mackay-Whitsunday had three wins apiece but it was North Queensland who finished with the better run rate.

While Central Queensland failed to record a win, coach Rob McCarthur said his team improved with every game.

“The standard of cricket was very good, certainly a long way ahead of when girls cricket first started on the rep scene. It is getting better and better each year,” he said.
