A newly renovated award-winning home in the blue chip Rockhampton suburb The Range has recently hit the market and is already attracting a lot of interest.
The property at 48 Glencoe Street was listed for sale by offers to purchase through Professionals Livingston and Molloy Real Estate.
Sales consultant Toby Molloy said there were about six inquiries on the home in the first 24 hours of it being on the market.
Mr Molloy said most of the inquiries he had received had come from people in the Rockhampton region looking to live in The Range in a modern home.
The property was built in 1920 and won a Master Builders 2021 Award for renovation with quality throughout.
“Only about two years ago everything was completed,” Mr Molloy said.
“It’s more or less a new home now. There’s not much left of the original home.
“When they did the renovation they didn’t spare any expense with the quality.”
The property boasts five bedrooms, three and a half high-end bathrooms and two parking spaces over 490 sqm.
The main level of the home boasts an open plan living area with polished hardwood flooring, designer kitchen with concrete benchtops, two bedrooms, home theatre room, main bathroom and front patio.

“It’s rare to have such a modern house on the southside and is a good change from the traditional Queenslander homes that are in that area,” Mr Molloy said.
“It’s a low maintenance option for someone that wants to live up on The Range and be close to the hospitals and Grammar schooling.
“It’s something you wouldn’t have to spend any money on for decades to come because it is essentially new.
“It ticks a lot of boxes for anyone looking for a clean low maintenance home on that side of town.”
