Woman suffers cuts and abrasions in crash on Burnett Highway at Walmul

A woman has been taken to hospital with injuries after a car crash on the Burnett Hwy at Walmul, south of Mount Morgan in the Rockhampton region.

Emergency services responded to the crash about 9.40am on Tuesday.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics were checking over a female patient with abrasions and lacerations and no one appeared to have suffered any serious injuries.

A QAS spokesperson said a female in her 40s was transported to Mount Morgan Hospital in a stable condition with a hand injury.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said a tow truck was en route to the crash.
