Man injured after car hits tree at Moura

A man has been taken to Rockhampton Hospital in a helicopter after suffering ‘potentially life-threatening injuries’ in a car accident at Moura.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the man had significant injuries to his face and his arm after his car hit a tree overnight.

She said they arrived at Gillespie Street in Moura at 11.10pm.

A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said no one was trapped in the car when they arrived and they left the incident by 11.30pm.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said they were waiting for the driver to recover before they could speak to him in regards to the incident.
