Emergency crews are on scene at a crash in Agnes Water.
They were called to the incident, which is believed to be between a car and motorised scooter, at the intersection of Round Hill Rd and Heights Entrance.
Crews were called to the incident about 1.45pm, with a rescue helicopter also tasked to the scene.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said they were treating the scooter rider at the scene for a significant arm and leg injury.
She said the man, believed to be aged in his 70s, had been taken by ambulance to the rescue helicopter was waiting.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said they had one crew on scene.
