Drink-drivers and drug-drivers who faced Yeppoon court
From a diesel fitter to a senior citizen heavily involved in community work, these are some of the Yeppoon drivers who got caught behind the wheel drunk or on drugs.

The following people faced Yeppoon Magistrates Court for either drink-driving or drug-driving offences.

Brett Mark Leigh, 43
Leigh blew a reading of .128 after police stopped him on Yeppoon Rd on December 23 last year.
He pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court on February 8 to drink-driving.
With no prior offending of this sort, Leigh, a self-employed diesel fitter and father, was fined $650 and disqualified from driving for four months.
Eliza Jewelle Petersen, 19
Petersen blew a reading of .107 after she was involved in a single-vehicle crash on Yeppoon Rd on August 4 last year.
She pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court on February 8 to drink-driving.
With no previous offending of this kind, Petersen was fined $650 and disqualified from driving for three months.
Thomas Brett Williams, 22
Williams blew a reading of .059 after police intercepted him on Yeppoon Rd on December 17 last year.
He pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court on February 8 to drink-driving.
With one prior similar offence in the past five years, Williams, an apprentice carpenter, was fined $550 and disqualified from driving for three months.

Felicia Camille Watkins, 31
Watkins was caught driving with methamphetamine in her system on the Scenic Highway on October 28 last year.
She pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court on February 8 to drug-driving.
With no prior offending of this sort, Watkins, a mother receiving parenting allowance, was fined $350 and disqualified from driving for one month.

Drink-driving
Margaret Ann Rosemary Ploschke, 79
Ploschke blew a reading of .069 after police intercepted her on Farnborough Rd on January 21.
She pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court on February 22 to drink-driving.
The court heard that Ploschke did a lot of community work and she was very embarrassed and apologetic for her offending.
With no prior offending, Ploschke was fined $300 and disqualified from driving for one month.
No conviction was recorded.
