UPDATE SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 23, 8am: POLICE have found a missing Rockhampton man safe and well after he disappeared nearly a week ago.
Queensland Police Service issued a statement around 8pm on Saturday night saying the 64-year-old Koongal man, Bruce Edward, had been found safe.
Mr Edward went missing on September 16 after he did not return from a morning walk.
Police thanked the media and public for their assistance in helping find Mr Edward.
UPDATE FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 21, 4.30PM: MISSING Koongal man Bruce Edward is still reported as missing.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said there have been no further reports or sightings.
SEPTEMBER 18, 2.30PM: POLICE are seeking public assistance to help locate a man reported missing from Rockhampton.
Bruce Edward, aged 64, was last seen on Sunday, September 16 at 4am. He left his home to go for a walk and has not returned.
Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as he has not contacted anyone since and requires medication.
He is described as Caucasian, around 175cm tall with a solid build, blue eyes and is bald.
He is heavily tattooed with distinctive shark tattoos on his face.
Anyone who may have seen Mr Edward or may know of his whereabouts is urged to contact police.
