Follow live results as residents in the electorate of Capricornia cast their votes in the 2025 federal election.

The LNP’s Michelle Landry has held the seat since 2013 and retained it at the 2022 election with a 6.6 per cent margin.

Capricornia covers part of five councils over more than 90,000 sq km, spanning Rockhampton and the Capricorn Coast and reaching into the Galilee and Bowen basins in the west, including Clermont, Emerald and Moranbah, to Sarina and part of the Whitsunday region and the southern suburbs of Mackay.

There are six candidates this election, including (in ballot paper order) Emily Mawson (Australian Labor Party), Stephen Andrew (Trumpet of Patriots), Cheryl Kempton (Pauline Hanson’s One Nation), Kerri Hislop (Family First), Michelle Landry (LNP) and Mick Jones (The Greens).
