30 charges laid against 18 people in Yeppoon shopping centre operation

Police have charged 18 people with stealing offences after a joint operation with Yeppoon Central Shopping Centre.
Yeppoon Police charged 14 adults and 4 juveniles with 30 charges offences in total, including stealing, possessing dangerous drugs, possessing drug utensils and obstructing police.
Police also managed to recover more than $1400 worth of allegedly stolen goods, which they returned to the local businesses.
Following the two-day operation, 16 people were banned from the shopping centre.
