A major fertiliser spill shut down part of a highway west of Brisbane for over two hours on Monday afternoon.
Two trucks collided on the Warrego Highway westbound at Minden about 4.30pm, with one spilling its 50-tonne load of fertiliser across both lanes.
One truck driver was taken to Ipswich Hospital in a stable condition, while the other was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said the highway was closed for nearly three hours as the roadway was hosed down.
The highway reopened about 8pm.
